Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider what great things he hath done for you.

Kindergarten is Finally DONE!!!!

Last Wednesday was our last day of school for Julia. I feel a sense of accomplishment completing my first year of homeschooling. We decided to celebrate her Kinder graduation, by going to Disneyland. Ok, well we do try to find reasons to use our season pass as much as we can. We just found out,  since Brian is disabled through the military, we can get into any state or federal park free. So we are planning on lots of camping trips in the coming months :)

Jelena is 3 months now, and is growing so fast. She reminds me so much of Ju when she was that age. I am just hoping she starts sleeping through the night soon. I am going to try her on bananas this week. She really is a sweet baby, and I feel so bless to have her in our life~

Happy Mother's Day!

First I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day that it applies to! God has blessed me with two wonderful mothers in my life. Without both of them, I wouldn't be the person I am today.

Secondly, we have had some answer prayers in the last weeks. As some know, Brian's health is bad. We filed a claimed with the VA (Veterans Affairs) back in 2011. Last week half of the claim came back. They back paid us for 2 yrs, and set us up on a monthly allotment. This is a huge blessing from the Lord! We also get free medical for him. This is huge! Some months we could spend hundreds of dollars in co-pays. Last Saturday, we needed to go to the ER for him. Usually this is a 200$ co-pay. When we went to the VA hospital for the migraine they treated Brian right away, and found out they will pay us mileage for the 70 miles we traveled to the ER! I guess any doctors visits, appointments, or ER visits this will apply to.

Lastly, we started taking Julia to a new dermatologist. A couple of months ago, they told us to take her off detergent with dyes and perfumes. This made such a difference on her skin. Yesterday, we found out that she is allergic to plastic. She is no longer able to drink from straws, sippy cups, or anything plastic that will touch the face. Hopefully, this will clear up the rash around her mouth.
