Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider what great things he hath done for you.

A Blessed Life!

I have been trying to be more frugal about buying big purchases right away. This last couple of weeks, it has really paid off. I have been looking all around for a dresser for Jelena . I didn't want to spend the money now, so I have been using tupperware for her clothes. My mother in law is getting a new dresser, and asked if I wanted her antique one. I was so excited! I am so glad I waited.

Secondly, I have been eyeing a new baby carrier. I couldn't see spending again the $100 when I do have 2 other ones I could use. Still, I kept looking at the Ergo baby carrier thinking it would be so nice to use it at Disneyland next week. Well, my friend just happen to have one in her car on our play date Monday.

Getting Back to Normal!

Wow Jelena is already a month old today. Time goes by too fast. It seems like we are finally getting into some kind of routine. Not sure how next week is going to be. Brian is flying out to Louisiana on Sunday, so it will be interesting how next week goes for me!

DEBT FREE!!!

When Brian and I got married we had no debt starting in our marriage. We somehow together accumulated thousands of dollars of debt. When I was pregnant with Joy we decided that in order for me to stop working we needed to pay off debt and sacrifice . We sold our second car, downsize our monthly bills, and work toward paying off our credit cards. With the help of taxes, bonuses, and cashing out my retirement, we were able to accomplish this. After this years bonus, I was finally able to put down the last payment on our van. It is such a blessing to know that we have no more $420.00 van payment each month, and that we are debit free. God has been so good to our family, and I know without him we could of never accomplish this.

Our 2005 Toyota Sienna officially ours now!
Yahoooie!
